Crown Cap 29 mm

Available cap colors:
If you choose the PVC-free inner seal (liner), available colors are black, white, gold, silver, green, red, blue, yellow, orange, and rose gold.
If you choose Oxygen Scavenger inner seal (liner), available colors are black, white, gold, and silver.

Pantone references for colors are:

• Green 3435C

• Red 2347C

• Blue 2748C

• Yellow 7405C

• Orange 1495C

Requirements for uploaded graphics:

• vectors (preferred): .ai/.pdf

• raster: jpeg/.png/.tiff

• Minimum resolution 600 dpi, in the dimensions indicated as "print area."

• The printable area has a diameter of 24.5 mm for 26mm caps and 27.5 mm for 29mm caps

P-ink's Advice.
Avoid using graphic elements smaller than 0.5 mm in size that may be difficult to print or unclear.

The caps for sale on P-ink:

• They are guaranteed to withstand an internal pressure of up to 8bar;

• They are suitable for pasteurization processes up to 65 °C. If you pasteurize at a higher temperature, contact us: we can advise you on the best solution;

• They are certified for food contact;

• They have C/FE91 as their environmental disposal code;

Two different cap sizes, 26mm and 29mm, are available.

Caps in 26mm are also available in a twist-off variant, which is a cap that opens without the need for a corkscrew.
Caution. Twist-off caps are only compatible with bottles designed for this type of cap. Specifically, the reference bottle neck codes are:

• For Europe, Cetie code GME14

• For US and UK, GPI code 26-540 and equivalent

Inner gasket (liner)

All caps for sale on P-ink have an inner seal (liner) made of PVC-free plastic, a material that eliminates the risk of harmful elements migrating into the beverage and can be disposed of without harming the environment.

In addition to the plain PVC-free version, there is also a version with Oxygen Scavenger, which is an active ingredient that actively absorbs the oxygen left in the bottle headspace to prevent oxidation of the beverage. The active ingredient has a shelf life of 6 months, which we guarantee from the time of bottling, provided the caps are stored properly, away from sources of moisture and heat. After these 6 months have expired, the cap ceases its anti-oxidation action, but still continues to guarantee all the organoleptic properties of the beverage inside, like a normal cap.

Shipping

The caps are packed inside protective plastic bags, placed in FSC-certified cardboard boxes. Each graphic variant is individually packaged.

Packaging of crown caps 26 mm

Up to 40,000 caps: you will receive 4 individual boxes.
From 50,000 and up (5 boxes): you will receive a pallet with a base of 100x120cm, varying in height depending on the quantity ordered.
The maximum quantity of caps per pallet is 350,000.

Packaging of crown caps 29 mm

Up to 28,000 caps: you will receive 4 individual boxes.
From 35,000 and up (5 boxes): you will receive a pallet with a base of 100x120cm, varying in height depending on the quantity ordered.
The maximum quantity of caps per pallet is 245,000 caps.

We take great care in packing the products. Despite this, minor damage may occur during shipping due to the caps rubbing against each other. We at P-ink consider a percentage of scratches and/or damage of 4% or less of the total products ordered to be tolerable.
All products for sale on P-ink are 94/62CE compliant.

Product storage

Caps should be stored in a clean, well-ventilated, dry place, avoiding direct sunlight or excessively high temperatures, as well as exposure to contaminants. We do not recommend stacking or shaking the products so as not to damage them.

Bottling

The caps for sale on P-ink all have a final outer layer of paint, designed to protect the digital print.
However, the outer varnish does not prevent rust, which metal is inherently prone to.
To prevent rusting, we recommend drying the cap thoroughly after bottling, such as by blowing air over the head of the bottle.
